It's my pleasure to introduce today's talented - and quirky - guest, author Tosca Lee.
Two years ago, I had a vivid dream that my sister was pregnant. I talked to her on the phone the next day. “Nope, not pregnant as far as I know,” she said. I had no idea they were actually trying at that time.
And she had no idea that she was, indeed, pregnant.
Near the same time, I had a dream that a girlfriend in Hungary was pregnant with a girl. She got pregnant with a girl. I had a dream last year that an old boyfriend and his wife were having a baby. I got a note just last month that they had a baby a few months ago.
I don’t have children of my own—something that surprised a recent reader of Havah—but I seem to have a penchant for knowing when others will!

"A passionate and riveting story of the Bible’s first woman and her remarkable journey after being cast from paradise. Lee’s superior storytelling will have readers weeping for all that Havah forfeited by a single damning choice."
—Publishers Weekly (starred review)
“Once every few years, I come across a book of such scope, such beauty, that it defies description. Havah bridges mankind’s beginnings with the restless state of our present age. . . . Havah is a novel with boundless imagination.”
— ERIC WILSON, author of Field of Blood and Fireproof

I will hop in and on this one! I would love to have a copy of this book, I keep hearing good things about it. If I like it, I'll write a review for it as well.
I love these type of stories. Demon sounds good too, I saw her at a book signing but just didn't have the funds to purchase one and have it autographed. She is an unusual author.
I like your blog site, I had to laugh at the comments on American Idol, those are exactly what Jim and I say. Too many people and too much controversy. TV has become pretty boring lately.

Even though I have a copy, I can always use a second to give to a friend to show them how awesome this book is.

Hi Paulette, and welcome to the blog! Glad to see there's another sane AI fan out there :+}
As for Tosca, well, she's just an amazing writer. Demon was one of those books I literally could not put down. I actually fell asleep reading it, not because it was boring, but because I stayed up waaay too late! I haven't read Havah yet, but it's on the table next to me right now, and I can't wait to get started.
Welcome, John,
Glad to see a new male face here :+} Thanks for chiming in on Havah. If you win, your friend will thank you.
Oh, Havah is a wonderful read My local Barnes & Noble has started carrying both of Tosca's books; ask your local bookstore to do the same. They will thank you!
If you haven't gotten copies of Demon: A Memoir and Havah, get out your wallet! I've gotten copies for such a diverse group of people and really used them to witness. today!
Tosca has a beautifully lyrical voice AND great storytelling skills!

I already have this great book, but a friend of mine took it with her on a move. (She's not a bog reader, but she loves it already!)
I'd love to be able to continue to pass this book around in the meantime :)
